Assalamualaikum warohmatullohii wabarokatuhu.

 Ladies and gentlement, let me begin by asking you a question. What is youth?. Youth is a generation that in their shoulders are burdened with various - kinds of expectations, especially from other generations. This is understandable because youth are expected to be the next generation, the generation that will continue the struggle of the previous generation, the generation that fills and continues the development relay.

Ladies and gentlement, Youth is not only the leaders of tomorrow, but they are also partners of today. They are a crucial part of a country’s development. Therefore, their contribution is really needed. As mr. Soekarno said “ give me ten youths so I will shake this world”.Ladies and gentlemen, can you imagine why did Soekarno say like that?. It is because of the really important roles of the youths in developing a country.

Ladies and gentlemen, why it must be 2045?. 2045 is the 100th of Indonesian freedom. The Golden Generation of 2045 is a noble vision that must be assumed by all elements of society. Indonesia Gold 2045 will certainly be experienced by the gold generation. The Golden Generation itself is a generation capable of competing globally with a comprehensive intelligence among others, productive, innovative, peaceful in social interaction, healthy in natural interaction, and superior civilization. With this intelligence is expected to be strongly rooted in the gold generation in 2045 later.

Ladies and gentlemen, Indonesia is one of the developed countries which has so many things in concern. Thus, its people should be able to work together in order to build a better country. However, developing the country is not an easy way. All the people should unite and work together. In addition, there are some people who have responsibilities in developing the country, and one of them is its young generation.

Ladies and gentlemen, what are the roles of youths in order to face Indonesia 2045?.what must youths do?.

1.    Youths must be an agent of change.

What does it mean?. It means that the youths always be the men who do a better changing. Youth should be a more sensitive person with problems that arise in the environment. Here is one of the role of Indonesian youth for his own country. Where the true youth is the agent of change of the nation. And certainly bring change to Indonesia to a more positive direction. If the government has tried to optimize the educational system that is able to minimize the moral decline of adolescents, we as youth should learn better, help the government to eradicate things that make people around restless as a result of the actions of youth, apply the things that have been given when in the school environment, family, and environment. In addition, youth is also more advisable to approach the people and instill a more populist perspective education. In essence, the human being on earth is the leader, the leader for himself, the environment and the wider community leader. As a leader of course required people who have a high social spirit, noble character, character, smart in decision making.

2.        Youths are iron of stock

youth as the next generation of nation is expected to have the ability, skill, and noble character to be a ready-made leader candidate. In essence the youth is an asset, reserve, and hope of the nation for the future. History has proved that in the hands of the young generation great changes have occurred, the youth have succeeded in paralyzing the new order regime and bringing Indonesia into an era that is currently rolling, the reform era.It is not impossible figures leaders and statesman who had been coveted, will be born from the youth. .

So now what can we do in fulfilling the role of iron stock ?. Youth as iron stock means the youth of a future nation leader who will replace the existing generation, so it is not enough just to cultivate specific science alone. It needs soft skills such as leadership, self positioning ability, and high sensitivity. The question is, as a student, Do we already have it all ??. so let’s prepare it soon.

If all the youths aware of their roles as the agent of change, social control, and the iron of stock, we believe that youth will be exist and bring progress for Indonesia now even 2045. In the end of my speech I want to remaind you that “The younger today is the Leader tomorrow”.
